For example, Greece of 1833 was a very complex and plural place. The
oldest modern Greek play, "Babylonia", examines a few Greeks who
simply cannot communicate with each other because they do not speak
the same language. But by the early 20th century, all of this had
disappeared from "common knowledge" and it had been substituted by a
pasteurized version of history, silly stories about ancient Greek
genes and the like. My guess is that [pejoritive term for Macedonian deleted] will travel the same
trajectory.
your guesses are strange as yuou have never gotten to know much about
the history or nature of Macedonia

My dear PUTANITSA, ADR exaggerates above because those people in
"Babylonia" do communicate and laugh on each other when they get not
angry. If they couldn't communicate they couldn't laugh on each other.
They simply use idiomatic words which have different meanings in their
dialects.
For instance, as you pretend to ignore, (you are putanitsa, afer all)
ancient Macedonians called the lion as charoon (xarwn) which ment
death for other Greeks (including modern ones). A good writer could
write a comedy or tragedy about those different meaning.

Why don't you enlighten us about Macedonia's history and nature, mwri
malakismeni?

In a recent post of mine I said that I am almost sure that our dearest
Tasos, could not write or read a hymn to Greeks and Greekness like
Sarkozy did in Greece few days ago.
Do you remember Pope Venedict speaking about dialoque of Islam and
Christianity and Emperor Manouel words? Another hymn to Greekness!

Tasos is like Dimou: they both have inferiority complexes regarding
Greekness.
